I don't know what the monitor market is like these days, but a 27" QHD, 180hz, QD-OLED monitor for $300 is unreal compared to what I paid just a few years ago for my OLED monitor.

this probably is the 200nit hdr that can't even get to hdrblack400

it's matte coating as well so this only can be used in really dark areas

This is the same price it was for Prime Day last month. Not the best OLED monitor but it's probably the lowest price if you want an OLED!

Yeah one reviewer did say that they don't recommend for FPS games especially ones with a lot of dark areas, as it's hard to spot the enemies. As an OLED user myself that only plays single-player games (and really only have time to play at night), peak brightness is much less of an issue, and I find OLED quality amazing. Still, good to point out the shortcomings so that people can be informed on what they're buying.

I paid $50 more just a few months ago and still thought it was a bargain. The stand is meh, but I'm overall very happy with the monitor.

The ram shortage is driving the cost of other parts down.
Its almost like if you had 32gb (minimum) and a decent gpu like 9070xt 16gb, you'd be eating great in todays market.

Matte or gloss? In a really dark room, gloss is better, not matte.

Thinking about this one or the TCL P2A Pro from Walmart. I like OLED screen but am concerned about the 200 nit brightness.

It is bad if you can't control the environmental lighting around you. For example, with direct sunlight shining on your screen, you can barely see anything. But I keep my window blinds closed all the time at home and just use lamps to light the room, so it's perfect
