Ordered a different Stanley cooler, also on sale, from Sierra based on this post and the bastages refunded me the next day without comment so I'm not sure what's going on.

Read this on SD before and followed it thankfully. Do not buy a cooler without wheels. You will regret it (most likely at least)

Yeah, if you actuall fill it 40 cans plus ice. That sounds heavy as hell. Not saying you have to do that but if you aren't using the capacity, buy a smaller cooler or one on wheels.

Bought this cooler for a similar price during a Domestic Domestic sale a couple years ago. It looks and feels nice but would not recommend it. Ice melts a lot quicker than the Coleman cooler we owned before it. The leakproof drain plug stripped after a year of use, so I had to wrap it with plumber's tape to prevent it from leaking.
