You need 4 for when they break if you read the reviews.

I use that type of lid. Very easy to clean in the dishwasher.

The cup never breaks. The lid ALWAYS breaks.

I recently found a magnetic ones that are awesome and replaced mine flip ones. Will see how long that one lasts

They've redesigned the lids numerous times and still can't get it right.
The ones with a clear plastic slider ALWAYS break the retaining tabs on the slider. Totally useless.

The newer clear plastic lids with the colored/opaque slider are better, but the 2-ribbed o-ring gasket is almost too tight and sometimes a bear to get the lid off. (earlier models were too loose).

I had to drill a 1/16" hole in the non-drinking side of the lids, as the coffee or beverage wouldn't even come out into your mouth without this needed air vent, but now it's perfected 'enough' to where I'm using it every day.
