Haven't owned a Panasonic TV since they made plasma TVs. This seems like a good price for the size. Are they still a good brand?

The Panasonic has a great picture and the sound is fantastic. I'm tempted to get another. The 144hz does all I hoped on pc and console gaming.

The sound though really seals it. No need for an additional soundbar and that setup . Built in stuff works so well!

This is best if your room is not very bright, and it has really good built-in speakers. I'd also use it with Apple TV 4K or Roku

Yes, but this is probably their last year of selling TVs. They will likely sell their name to some Chinese company who will sell low quality sets with their name.

Already happened in April. Will have to wait and see what Skyworth does with the brand name.

Ex wife threw something and broke my Panasonic Plasma a little over a year ago. Had to dig out the Pioneer Pro 151 from the garage. Needing something to send it back into retirement. This one might work

I got this a few months back at $1300. Overall I'm very satisfied with it. I came from an LG C1 55" (that I paid $1100 for) and this TV is a little better than that. It's a great deal.
