Great deal on objectively good games but I just can't get into the horror genre.

I just started getting into re. I'm not really into horror either but the puzzles, gameplay, and stories are so good that I've been playing a lot of them. Re2r, re3r, re4r, re7, re8, and re9!

Start with Resident Evil 5. That was my first game.

5.6.7. 2 remake. 3 remake. 4 remake. Village.

I did that order

Start with RE2 Remake. It's extremely good.

RE games are survival horror but emphasis on Survival. You mostly just shoot standard zombies and have to deal with the survival part. RE isn't nearly as gross or horror as it's made out to be. Think 'Halloween' or 'Alien' or '28 Days Later', not 'Saw' or 'Hellraiser' or 'Hostel'.

This was my first foray into the horror genre. And only the demo at that. 😄

I never did finish Resident Evil Village. I got stuck in a part in the game where you have one of the villains hunting you down hide and go seek style inside the kitchen area. I couldn't figure out how to escape. Then I built an entirely new PC and the game got deleted in the process.

Might have to revisit that game. Very intense game. Gets the heart rate up. 😅

I know what you mean. I tried 6 times to get into RE4 but it just didn't click with me. No complaints about what really is a fantastic games but I just couldn't stick with it.,

Yes you do. It just sounds like you suck at managing your resources.

Confused about the offer - the MacOS version exists, but doesn't seem like it is included in this promo?

This reminds me of games like Silent Hill 1 where I saved as much ammo and use it when needed the most but when I found out I was at the last boss I used all the special ammos and took it out so quick it soured the whole experience...

When I played on harder I could not save any ammo tho...had to run all fights unlike normal and quit cuz it was too hard....

Wish there was a middle ground between the difficulty...normal was intense probably cuz I was not using as much ammo as I should had.
