edit: correction - amazon is selling a 18V 4.0 AH MAX battery for $56, not just the $89 that's at home depot. but $40 per battery is a solid deal if you can find it.
regardless, the tool doesn't come with a rigid battery for the price.

Also, be wary of knock off batteries on Amazon. Many times they are junk.
