This Switch 2 choose your game bundle lowers the console price by about $49, with the effective savings landing around $80 if you pick Mario Kart World or about $70 with the other games. The bundle includes a code in the box to redeem on the eShop, not a physical cartridge, and Amazon Day shipping can add extra cash back. Checkout and coupon behavior is inconsistent, so the final price may depend on whether the promo applies.

The coupon can appear on the product page and then disappear at checkout, but the discount may still apply during checkout. If the price difference is missed, Amazon support or a return/reorder flow has also been used to recover about $49.90.
The effective discount is about $80 if you choose Mario Kart World and about $70 if you choose the other two games. That lines up with Mario Kart World being an $80 game on its own, while the bundle price reduction is smaller for the other options.
Yes. Selecting Amazon Day shipping can add 1-2% back, and paying with an Amazon Prime card can add 5-6% cash back; one checkout also saved an extra $10 after reordering with Amazon Day.
The bundle includes a code in the box that you redeem on the eShop to download one of the three games. It is not a physical cartridge bundle, so the game is tied to a digital redemption rather than a cart.
The purchase limit seems to be two consoles per order. That has been enough for buyers planning to pick up two units for gifts.

in the same boat as some others... not in a rush to get this but if this is going to be the best deal we're ever going to get in the next 2-3 years, might have to bite.

You could likely replicate close to this deal around BF with some work. Usually Costco has a one day 20% sale on Nintendo gift cards. And Nintendo recently changed it where you can use those cards to purchase hardware directly from them. So potentially you could get a base console for $500 - $100 = $400. But that would be without a game and each of these games are worth well over $50. There could potentially be a bundle available and if we assume it will sell for $550 - $110 = $440.
So could potentially be close to this deal. But I don't know if Nintendo charges shipping.
And that's based on the assumption you have a Costco membership and that they have a 20% off deal again this year. And some people had issues with getting the payment to go through for so many online GC purchases.
I think if you're interested in getting a Switch 2 at all this generation. This is the deal to get in on.
X but skipped out on ps5 because those price increases s. And also still have original switch from 2019.
honestly it's not even worth getting switch 2 imo since only Mario kart, donkey Kong are only attracting games for me currently. if it wasn't for expected increase in September I would be willing to wait
