Right, I'm speaking from the consumer perspective for folks who are willing to dig a little bit technically and don't like the idea of buying a "grey" license
Libre open office (google search it and the website will come up) is a safe (no trojans or spyware honest Smilie ... if nothing else ask Windows Defender to scan it if you're running Windows you can google search how to make it scan your downloads folder and WD comes free with any version of Windows if I understand correctly, built into Windows so to speak) is free and in a way a "clone" of the earlier versions of Word .. anyone who's familiar with say Microsoft Word 2000 or Word 2003 or Word 2007 from way back when will look at it and say " Hey that looks familiar!" Smilie .. and it can also handle Excel and Powerpoint type files from what I understand (honestly I just use it for text documents)... I don't think it has as many features as say a paid Microsoft Word product (someone jump in and correct me if I'm wrong) but it's fine for most people who just want something that works like MS Word far as text documents.. it will also open up even newer "modern day" MS word documents without any problems. Safe to use too.

I'd absolutely agree with BeautifulPencil and CalmLaborer, download and give Libre Open Office a try before considering buying even a cheap version of MS Word like this one.

I bought a windows 11 key that stopped working after about two years. Cheap enough to just buy again...
Were you able to reactivate it with another grey market key?

I don't want to install from their setup files. Has anyone figured out how to download it from Microsoft website?

Worked but I did have to uninstall and reinstall like it mentioned in the instructions in the email since it's a corporate key but it works perfectly fine otherwise.

Here's your future where this deal won't be possible anymore. Enjoy grey market keys and Massgrave while they still work.

I got it. It worked. I did have to get support to give me a new product key to work though. The one sent out from email did not.
