You really like it? I'm debating going at opening to grab one..
It's alright. Good for a really small room. Great price considering it was on clearance for $79.97 for a long long time. They finally decided to really get rid of stock.

Here's the AI answer for you.

Yes, you can use the stereo feature with your current speaker and the one from Costco, provided the Costco speaker is also a 2nd Gen model. Stereo pairing with identical speakers is supported either via the Bose app or the physical Shortcut button.

However, a quick note about the Costco model: club stores often sell a "Special Edition" (SE). If the Costco version is an SE or an older 1st Gen model, stereo linking may revert to Party Mode (which duplicates audio instead of separating left and right channels).

There was a reddit post which says those can't be linked

I would just buy it and if it doesn't work, return it.

I just got 2 at my local Costco tool. Just use the app to search under Warehouse tab. Cool thing about these speakers is that they can be sync'ed for stereo effect.

I got them at $80. I like them.

There was a firmware update a few months back that changed their behavior. For example, it won't tell you
The battery percentage and a sound when the speakers turn off. You can find complaints about it.

I am trying to avoid updating the firmware by not using the Bose app with the speakers when connected to the internet. Both speakers need to be on the same firmware to pair.
Not sure if you have tried already, but I think they may price match if within 30 days and if you had got from Costco. Worth a try even if more than 30 days sometimes they make an exception.

I've got two of these and they're the best sounding speaker for the price.. I did some extensive testing last year and tried over 10 different speakers and kept coming back to this one.

PSA: got two of these and here are some cons to consider: one started making static popping sounds right after warranty expired. once u disconnect a bluetooth it makes loud warning voices every 15-20secs consistently and then stops after a few minutes. to turn the unit off, u need to hold the power button for 10 whole seconds. super annoying and terrible design thought.

I use it for work calls. With a loud clear sound, it makes a huge difference.

I think yours is broken because mine only needs a single button press to turn off. No holding required.
