This seems to be posted every few days at his price. It just leads to hate about s2 card. This game is pretty good but I am enjoying the second one more. I continue to be amazing what they are getting the s2 to do.
What is a "game key card"?Do I own the game, or not? If I own the game, how do I lend it to a friend for he weekend?
The game key card does not have the game on it, so you'll still have to use hard drive space, but otherwise functions like the game card. You can't run the game without it inserted in the system. You can lend it or sell/trade it. It's a physical key for a digital download, if that makes sense.

Clarification, because it's a digital download, that card only has value as long as that download is available - meaning that card won't be worth jack down the line.

This is true but there a couple things to mention.
1) You can still download from Wii Shop and it's ~20 years old
2) If you had the game on your Switch 2 and sold it locally, you can transfer it to the buyers system locally. "Match Version with Local Users"
3) If 20 years down the road you want to keep it. You could buy multiple 1tb+ cards assumedly on the cheap and keep the data on them or on your PC by backing up the "Nintendo" folder.
However, if you want to use/sell in 30 years from now, only have the card, no storage backup, yes, its probably worthless.
