And? Makes no difference compared to the pictures they used to be before AI. They aren't actual photos of the image produced by the device.. so who cares.
I bought couple days ago when it was on sale at lower price. The 1100 lumens is bright enough in my basement theater compared to my old 2200 lumen benq projector. I feel it's even brighter.
Ah these are finally coming down in price but I think I would only ever feel comfortable buying one of these at Costco with an extended warranty. Does this one have a lamp that needs to be replaced?

Seems like a decent projector for the money. You pay twice as much you get brighter and better for sure, but if you have a light controlled room, this sounds like a decent performer if you are in the market. Audio is weak but depending on your source this might not be a big problem. It doesn't have built in smart features but honestly it might be better in some ways since you can just use your source to drive the experience and upgrade that easily.

Does the benq use a bulb? It could be old and therefore lost lumens

Over the past 90 days, the price of Optoma Photon Life PK32 4K Projector has ranged from $608.84 to $1,299.00. The current price is $608.84, the lowest in the past 90 days. ?? Well what was that price so we can compare?

And also for some reason, the picture is less affected when turning on the light. I don't know why. It doesn't have that terrible wash off feel compared to my benq. I use a framed projector screen.
