the material for these are EXTREMELY cheap, like plasticky thin but unbreathable vinyl (where you see the white parts in the photo above, as well as the tongue). Got these in May for $20 from ShopSimon, and they're far inferior to the similarly sale-priced Grand Courts in comfort and quality of construction. If you nevertheless want them, bump up +0.5 a size, they run small.

There's no way this isn't a plastic upper shoe. Wrap a plastic bag around your feet and see how fast they begin to sweat. This shoe isnt far behind.

Is there anything you'd recommend with similar styling that isn't so plasticky-thin? FrownI'd say this is a bit different than many Adidas designs--almost resembles a certain Reebok Classic.
