Gone are the days where bogo actually means bogo. They will tack on bogo$1 (Krispy Kreme), bogo with purchase of drink (Qdoba), and they think they are being cute by putting weird cent amounts like $0.15 (KK) on tax day or in this case, $0.89, etc.
Weirdly enough, they are even breaking the unofficial rewards member rule where they have better offers on mailers than in the app. You would think it would be the other way around.
This is why I go for the free doughnut with purchase offers in app.
What if the deal was bogo and each dozen was $15.98?
Dozen glazed at regular price in my area is $15.99, $7.25/hr state
Actually, a dozen today on that wage would not be unheard of to cost minimum, $10.875 for a dozen
