I've got the 2-probe version that i got for $50 and have been happy with the performance. Everything seems manufactured well and batteries have been holding charges.

One thing i really like is the probe size isn't huge so you can use in smaller cuts. i haven't tested with anything as fragile as a fish fillet but everything else has been great

They are an excellent value. I have 2 Meaters and use my TheroMavens over them every time now.

They're kinda short though but maybe that's a pro for some. I thought it was medium thick. There are definitely thinner probabes out there but price ain't worth it.

I wonder if you can replace a probe with another one or it's just SOL when it breaks.

Lol maybe there's a Morse code we tap like drum sticks with the probe to turn on BT pairing.

I havent tried this specific brand, but ive heard from many people that the ones like this with the wireless probes (meater being the most popular brand) can struggle with getting reliable signal out of a smoker when its closed. I have a fireboard and it has wired probes that connect to a base unit that sits outside the smoker, and then that base unit sends data wirelessly to the app on your phone.

I have the 2-probe version, and the only issue I've noticed is that the ambient temperature readings can differ by as much as ±50°F between the two probes, even when they're only about 2 inches apart. Other than that, it has worked very well.
