An easy convenient way to use any amount of ThankYou Points at checkout: 5,000 Points = $40 at PayPal [paypal.com] merchants

Here's how it works:
  1. Sign into PayPal [paypal.com] and open your Wallet.
  2. Select your eligible CitiĀ® card and choose to link your ThankYou Points.
  3. Tap Get Started, then Agree and Link. Once linked, your available ThankYou Points will appear as a payment option for eligible purchases when you check out with PayPal.

I haven't had a chance to buy anything yet so I don't know if this offer can be applied to multiple transactions that add up to $40. And I don't know if this deal is repeatable for more than once. And I don't know if gift card purchases are eligible.
