I purchased 3 of these and received two boom 2 speakers and one se version. They look identical but are definitely so be careful.

I purchased one of these the last time it popped up on sale to use TWS with my other Boom V2 but I received a Boom 2 (not V2). Customer support confirmed I received the wrong item and had me send it back for a replacement. The replacement was also a Boom 2 so they ended up offering me $20 partial refund.

Great speakers but kind of a pain if you're looking to use TWS - you need identical models and Boom 2 does not work with Boom V2 with TWS. Partycast works though.

I bought one of these a few months back on the crazy Anker deal with this and the small little portable sound core. I've owned a lot of Bluetooth speakers over the years. Ue megaboom, higher end Sony, JBL, off brand, etc. for the size this is one of the best sounding imo. Nice bass for the size. Great battery life. Polished app. Appreciate its splash / water resistance.

Still waiting on mine to ship. They shipped one boom 2 without the smaller speaker so far. Meanwhile they are selling the same devices but not shipping the ones they already sold on the "deal."

The things I've read say the v2 won't do tws at all even with 2 of the same..

If you have 2 you can set them up to play true stero. The sound is incredible! Not sure if only certain phones will do this, but samsung s25 does it flawlessly. Incredibly impressed!

Years ago I needed a new speaker and bought this for $120 and compared it side-by-side with a "Used Like New" JBL Xtreme that cost the same.
Now that this is down to $60 (and routinely cheap at Costco).... and the JBL is at least triple that price, it's a complete no-brainer.

The sound quality and volume are incredibly comparable to the JBL. If it had been this cheap when I was shopping, I would have chosen it in a heartbeat. I only went with the JBL because they were the exact same price.

My mistake. Sorry, I've posted a dozen or so Anker deals in the last month and they are blurring together.

This deal seems to be for the same listing that I posted a deal for in June. If that's the one you're referring to, and you still haven't received it, I would suggest contacting the seller to find out what's going on. (And if they are no help you can reach out to AliX.)
