This processor is ancient at this point. Unless they have replaced the battery, I'd also worry about it holding a charge. Not a bad laptop for basic use though, but I'd rather save the $200 and put it towards a more capable laptop. Look at it like you're getting a $200 coupon on a new laptop. There are plenty of more capable brand new laptop deals that keep popping up in the $500 to $600 range.

Another option is to look for an open box deal at BestBuy, as those are generally returned without the 15 to 30 day return period, so you are getting a new battery.
