Decent tv if you're watching it in a dark room from straight on, like a theater room. In a bright room, it struggles with crappy viewing angles and the colors look washed out. For $1400 I'd rather spend roughly that amount on either a 77" OLED or, if in a dark room I'd get a projector.

77" OLED - Assuming you mean the LG c5 77" which is a SCREAMING deal since it uses the panels from the G5.

No they dont use the same panels for c5 and g5, where did you get that info from?

I would definitely spend $300-400 more for a TCL QM7K or Hisense U7 if the $1500-1800 prices come back.

$1259 on Samsung site if you have a military acct. (I assume the same price for edu and 1st responders). But, I still do not recommend the TV while last years qm7k and qm6k are still in stock.
