One of the best designed cassette removal tools featuring a longer handle, rubberized grip, and hefty metals. For only $7.99, it's a great deal on an essential bike tool that will last a long time. The long handle really helps with the extra torque sometimes required for removing old cassettes or securing the lock ring on new ones.

FOUNDATION CASSETTE REMOVAL TOOL [jensonusa.com]
Parts eventually wear out, unfortunately. When a cassette starts to wear out, you'll notice shifting and performance problems. If you need to remove your cassette to clean it or replace it, you'll need the proper cassette removal tool. The Foundation cassette removal tool fits Shimano and SRAM cassette lock rings and features a long handle with a grip which offers ample leverage to remove your lock ring and a guide pin to stabilize the tool.

Features
Long handle and grip for ample leverage
Guide pin stabilizes the tool
Fits: Shimano, SRAM, SunRace, SunTour, and Chris King cassettes

I prefer just the head of the tool that fits on a breaker bar for removal and then a torque wrench when tightening.

I use a 1" socket on a 3/8" drive torque wrench. Doesn't everybody?

That's fair. I have both and they work equally well. I have my bike tools and car tool separated. It's not a big deal I just like the dedicated tool- less fuss I can just grab it.

Shipping is $9 to San Diego... Which makes this $17 shipped. Total deal killer. You're missing vital basic info in these posts.
