I don't think this is a great deal. There are many companies making these things now and competition is driving down prices.
Right now, I think <$1000 is good deal territory.

I recently purchased a Navimow X430 and did a ton of research on all similar mowers. This one was a close second on my list and I almost bit based on price. It's a very capable, feature rich robot mower and is priced competitively for what it is. There are other similar AWD mowers for around the same price, but most use the omni-directional front wheels that will leave wear spots on grass over time. The main reason I chose the Navimow over this was the cutting width and the company's history and reputation for robot mowers. This is Roborock's first iteration, but they seem to have done very well and checked almost all of the boxes. I think this should be the normal price for this mower. Probably won't see any better discounts until mowing season is over or next year when better and cheaper alternatives come out.

Not really the same types of mowers in the sub $1000 category. This is an AWD unit. You can use the cheaper mowers and some work well, but for a difficult landscape or St. Augustine, the more expensive AWD models have a place. Not many below $1500.
Finally! Roborock makes some of the best robot vacs around. If this mower is anywhere near as good, they just need to get the price down a bit further.

Agreed. Just like the robot vacuum market got flooded with competitors, the same is happening in the robot mowers. Prices will come down more.

Similary, just got the x430 2 months ago. If it were to break and I didn't have a warranty, I would buy another one in an instant!
This price seems reasonable to me; the actual mowers themselves are quite robust.
