Asked electrician friend about this and was told anyone that comes up here thinking they'll undercut these guys and make a killing, quickly realize they can charge the same and still get jobs.
It'll only come down (over here) when people stop paying those ludicrous rates.

I've got 2 Me Cool units that come with "wifi" and it's literally just a USB dongle that plugs in. Seems lots of generic brands do the same but they're model-specific... and I can't tell if Garvee does or not. They have so many WiFi enabled units it mucks up all my search results.
Reading about 3rd party "smart" connections from earlier comments I'm seeing too many potential problems since there's no system feedback so I'd rather native support.
