i have this (and the 2 years ago version). these are so bad, i never learn. you can't tell me samsung doesn't handicap the OS through updates so you're forced to upgrade to the latest and greatest. both of mine are shot as it relates to navigating the OS. super slow, choppy, sometimes needs a power cycle. trash but when it works for art, it looks good lol
and for the love of god don't even think about using this as an actual tv
It's meant for art, so form over function. If you want great video picture quality, stick with a real TV.
One does not have to prevail over another. I understand that Oled won't be viable but I can't understand what prevents them from putting a decent mini led screen with ample number of dimming zones.
I just bought this TV approx 2 weeks ago after my 2024 display panel died on me. Screen went half black with bleeding from the top and bottom. Anyways this TV is slow as hell. The inclusion of AI features seems to take it's toll on this set. There is literally a loading bar when switching apps or sources. Half the time my TV will ask me to "please wait tv still is preparing" when i click a button on the remote to perform direct actions. Sometimes I have to press the power button more than once to turn it on. The TV doesn't automatically reconnect to my Samsung Bluetooth speaker when i turn the TV off then on again. These are all things the 2024 version did faster and without issue. Literally the only benefit was not having to switch out any of the existing hardware from the previous TV aside from the panel and one connect box. I'm all honesty if they actually sold just a replacement display panel I would have been better off just buying that instead of a whole new TV as this one actually feels like a downgrade

Panel of frame tv died on you ? I have a frame from 2022 and just few weeks back it died on me. The one connect box keep power cycling and tv has few lines but no display. Upon reading looks like it's toast and can't be fixed. Can't believe I just got 3 years out of it. I love the tv for art purpose so might buy it again but still sucks that it only lasted short time.
Interested but I would like the mat version instead of the glossy display version. We also currently have a Samsung Smart TV and we hate the UI, it's terrible to navigate even with a separate Roku plugged in so I have my doubts about the UI for this TV. I'll probably hold off and try the TCL version of this TV somewhere down the road
There is no such thing as a glossy version. All Frame TVs (including this one) are matte.
The invisible cable and one box are two biggest failure points. I have frame tv and it started acting up within 2 years. I hear ticking sounds from the box and tv keeps switching off and reconnecting. I would not recommend
Any feedback on if this would be a good choice to mount in a bedroom? I like the idea of having a tv in my bedroom but I can't decide. Two south facing windows if that matters.
I have one in my bedroom. Perfect use case, we love it. I mounted it to the wall above a dresser and the power box sits on that. Wife loves the art display options and that it doesn't scream TV. Picture quality is fine. I don't care about viewing angles I'm only watching from one place (laying in bed).

I've been wondering about this - for bedroom use, if you want it displaying art all the time, do you also have to go turn it off at night when you sleep? Or does it go totally dark automatically?

$597.00 but from a 3rd party. Funny the new one is from the same 3rd party? Bad reviews though https://www.amazon.com/sp?marketp...B0
