This is for metal workers/ machinists to drill precision holes on large parts or workpieces that cannot be brought to the drill press. It's for custom work at medium to large scale.

There are infinite uses, but just imagine you need to re-bore a hole on a piece of industrial machinery or imagine how they drill the through holes for large-span bridge trusses. That sort of thing.
