You're absolutely right. But I sacrificed $3 to gain the 25 gift card
After shipment is complete, you will receive an e-mail from Amazon that indicates the dollar amount of the promotional credit and that the dollar amount of the credit has been added to your customer account. The e-mail will also provide instructions on how to redeem the promotional credit.
It sounds like you get the credit right after your order ships. Nowhere in the terms does it explicitly say any certain number of days but I remember previous deals that give an Amazon credit, the credit took a couple weeks after shipment. Very vague...

Last time I used it with Amazon purchases, the UPC code was specific to amazon multi-packs and P&G rebates only sent me a $5 rebate instead of 15 or 20. So YMMV

Shouldn't matter, if the UPC you are entering doesn't populate on their product listing field, look up the supermarket upc for the same product.
the rebate goes by spend but you have to list the products you've purchased on their rebate submission site with the UPC that matches a description in their database.
This has come up before on SD, you'll get the proper rebate IF you've received the correct equivalent UPC# and entered it and spent the $75 threshold OOP.
If you are still facing an issue, post here on the thread and usually someone has the correct UPC to enter. as I said, this is a common issue with the Amazon items, also be sure to use the UPC NOT on the box, but on the plastic wrap of the paper towels.
