So you're going to need a side freezer just to freeze ice? Wouldn't it be cheaper to go to the Dollar Tree and buy a $2 10lb bag of ice with the amount of electricity and space you're going to need for the same?
It seems difficult to use all 5 simultaneously without lids for each.
i thought about this as well, but even with lids, can you stack these prior to freezing? they are flexible rubber, so i doubt you could stack one on top of the other without the rubber collapsing on the lower one. if im wrong, id love to know. i want to get these for camping trips. sick of using (and abusing) my tupperware containers

freezing your own ice is many many times more cost efficient than buying ice. like. come on now.
unless you have to buy a second freezer, which was this guy's idea
thats like saying "this isnt a good deal on frozen brocolli because id need to buy another freezer to store it in!!!!!!"
i mean, this isnt a difficult concept. use your current freezer to make ice when you have a bit of spare room, and dont make ice when you dont have spare room.
