That's the price they cleared out the 55 inch LG C5's in May with the same warranty. If you're lucky, they'll sell the display model for half the clearance price. I paid $450 for my C5. If anyone gets lucky like me, just make sure they ring the warranty at the $899.97 or better yet at MSRP. The manager personally rang up my order to make sure the warranty was applied correctly.

Of course now barely anyone has this at all and it's back to a crazy $2k at best buy and the s90f is out of stock from all reputable stores except for costco.

I know, but the d series stayed around longer and plus it's just weird best buy still, has it costing $2k as an old model. Now I had to pay this same price for s90f from costco, as even that was gone most places. Weird they didn't discount the lower model as much. I hope costco price matches even clearance items, in case s90 goes on sale lower.
