Open-Box, also known as used. Might want to wipe them with rubbing alcohol when they get delivered.😁
I asked my snarky AI if Best Buy actually cleans these before reselling 🤣:

Deep-cleaning someone else's crusty earwax out of a microscopic mesh grate requires forensic-level detailing, which costs actual time and money. Best Buy is a massive electronics retailer, not a medical sanitation facility.

Let's look at the reality of the situation:

**The Labor:** An overworked retail employee is not busting out a magnifying glass, tweezers, and isopropyl alcohol for a 15-minute acoustic deep-clean. They are giving it a two-second swipe with a Clorox wipe and moving on.

**The Economics:** Corporate America has one golden rule. If a business can save a buck by cutting a corner under the cozy blanket of 'plausible deniability,' they will take that shortcut every single time.

Unless the Geek Squad secretly opened an otolaryngology department, those 'open-box' earbuds are almost certainly coming with a free sample of a stranger's DNA.

All not major issues. Just complain to complain. Maybe except the case but why do you need the charging case protected? Mine have never been in one. Its gotten scratched up but its not like I'm going to sell them.
It's not a major issue if it costs less than $50 of my hard-earned money.

If only Samsung would follow Apple's lead and implement hearing aid functionality....
I've used the galaxy buds pro 2 and airpod 2's and 3's for hearing amplification with good effect. Make sure you've got good tips if having issues. Apple can do a decent hearing test, but best to go to audiology and get a legit audiogram if indicated and feasible with your healthcare systems

Super cheap. I've had them since they came out and I've gotten use to put in back to charge. I've had the FE buds and they're crap compared to these. Ordered the 4's- not that I need them...

Worse ANC compared to the Air Pods Pro 2 but sound/music quality is significantly better.

It didn't. First store had no more, checked another store 40 mins away, they didn't either. I liked them enough that I ended up just buying brand new ones instead.

Inspect before you buy. Ended up finding/buying the white version in store for $57 that were listed as "Open Box - Good" condition because they were actually like new. The $78 silver version in "Open Box - Excellent" condition had a bunch of scratches on the case.

This is a 2nd pair for me, bought the first set in silver last year on Black Friday and absolutely love them.

FWIW, ear tip sizing makes a massive difference for ANC with these. Run the fit wizard thing in the settings to optimize. Some people have also reported major improvements going with the AZLA tips, which are sorta sized in half sizes jumps between the factory tips and can seal gaps.

Getting the foam tips for these is essentia, i have thesel. It helps them stay in and noise cancelation is way better. Foam tips are kinda a must for all earbuds..I just got my wife the airpod pros 3 and she couldn't keep them in her airs, I got her the foam tips and as soon as she put them in her ears she was shocked
What brand of foam tips did you buy for your wife's AirPods Pro 3? Or were they just Temu generics etc if that works fine. Also, how often do you find yourself having to replace them (how quickly do they lose effectiveness)? Thanks

I bought mine new for like $150 last year and i immediately switched out the thin silicone ear tips for third party foam ear tips for a big boost in noise cancellation
