It's very good, the movie hits almost every main point but its short compared to the book. The book elaborates on everything. It's the exact same thing for Project Hail Mary, the movie is very very short compared to the book but its a good movie

The part where Mars has 1% of earth's atmosphere yet can blow over a space vessel in some mystery storm is hilarious. #2 space potatoes in martian soil. #3 iron man out of the gravity with 14lbs of pressure. Sure buddy.

As long as the narrator is RC Bray. There's a version read by Wil Weaton and it's hot garbage.

They compressed 40% of the book into one disco song as he travels from Ares III to Ares IV.

Prepped Martian soil CAN grow plants, NASA demonstrated that. Through a small enough hole, suit pressure theoretically CAN generate some thrust, just near impossible to control as the characters admit. The storm though is purely fictional as the author said it himself.

Everyone here's a Captain Kirk & rocket scientist rolled into one. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I hope the book is good because the movie was quite pathetic. Good luck.
