Do not buy this. iRobot is filling for bankruptcy. There's no guarantee how long these will be supported. None of the ratings websites recommend Roombas any more because of this.

Roomba is not going out of business, but its parent company, iRobot, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and was acquired by its primary Chinese supplier, Picea Robotics. You can expect existing Roombas to continue working, as the company assures users that the app, customer support, and product development are operating as usual.

Those looking for an entry level robot vac, I highly recommend the shark matrix with self emptying bagless base station that shows up occasionally on woot. Similar price point but infinitely more convenient than emptying the robot every other day.

So it did go bankrupt, and got acquired by another company.
