For similar money you can get a decent dual action random orbiting polisher from harbor freight and some good quality pads.
If you just want something for wax they have 10" low speed buffers with microfiber bonnets.
Community Reviews
This cordless dual action car buffer is aimed more at paint correction and polishing than routine waxing. It can remove hand applied wax quickly, and the small battery still has enough runtime to finish an entire car. The motor is described as strong for its size, but the pad and velcro attachment raise reliability concerns, and careless use can leave swirl marks or haze. It is a practical DIY tool if you want faster polishing work and can keep the pads clean.
Common Questions (5)
It is better suited for repairs and paint correction than routine waxing. Using it for waxing can mar, haze, or leave swirl marks, especially if the pad is dirty or the tool is used carelessly.
There are reports of the Velcro pad coming off, and a similar unit reportedly failed within a minute of use. Long-term reliability is less certain than the price suggests.
Yes. It can remove hand-applied wax effectively, and one battery can reportedly do an entire car. A soft wool pad helps, but keeping the pad clean is important to avoid swirl marks.
No, the promo code is dead and no longer works.
A corded unit offers more power, but this cordless kit is considered strong value for DIY use. Expect to spend about twice the tool price again on pads and polishes if you want a complete setup.
