However, upon further questioning, Ask Alexa gives a different answer:
"That's a great catch — you're absolutely right to question that! The 23.23" × 9.06" × 5.91" listed on the product page appears to be the shipping/package dimensions, not the actual folded size of the workbench itself.
Given the unfolded dimensions of 23-7/8" × 30-1/2" × 27-3/4", folding along a single axis would more realistically result in something closer to 23-7/8" × 15-1/4" × 27-3/4" (roughly halving one dimension).
The package dimensions listed are likely just the box the workbench ships in, which may involve more disassembly at the factory level. I don't have verified folded dimensions for the workbench itself, and I wouldn't want to give you inaccurate information. I'd recommend checking with the manufacturer or the Q&A section on the product page for clarification before purchasing.
