There are a few ways I found to get the Leatherman ARC for less while I was shopping for mine:
1) Use Leatherman's 20% special discount
Leatherman offers discounts for qualifying military members, teachers, first responders, medical professionals, government employees, and others. This brings the price down to about $200.

2) Buy it from Sportsman Fulfillment for $194.99
Add the ARC to your cart, and the price should drop to $194.99.

3) Or for the best possible deal I found: Bass Pro price match plus credit-card discounts
This requires a Bass Pro CLUB credit card:
Call Bass Pro and ask them to price-match Sportsman Fulfillment's $194.99 price.
Bass Pro CLUB members get an additional 5% price match discount.
Make the purchase during one of Bass Pro's 10% CLUB member days, which happen fairly often on Mondays.
Combining those discounts brought my final price down to about $166.
I think the Bass Pro Military discount can be stacked with this, but I can't say for sure.
One warning: Bass Pro's price-match approval seems inconsistent. Some representatives will match Sportsman Fulfillment, while others may refuse because it is supposedly "a warehouse rather than a physical store." My first call was disconnected, but the next representative approved the price match.
