I would never buy a sit stand desk it doesn't go below 24 inches. You should understand how economics work and what your correct low height setting is. This desk is super high. You'd have to be like 6 feet tall for this to be the right height for you.

If anyone is thinking about this deal, I strongly suggest getting out a tape measure and looking at exactly what 24 inches deep looks like.

Most people need/prefer a depth of 30 inches.

Would not recommend a 24" desk depth. Sitting here at my standing desk with a 30" depth, my dual monitors are mounted on an arm mounted to the back of the desk and are pushed back as far as they'll go. I wished they were further away to like 34-36". At 24" the monitor will be in your face with barely enough room for your wrists/arms on the table for using the keyboard.

If you plan on adding wheels to yours, be sure to account for the added height. The wheels and mounts are 5", so at the lowest desk setting, the surface will be raised higher than most chairs will put you at. I had to buy an office chair with an extended elevation and keep it at the tallest height setting. So now when I sit, my whole foot doesn't rest on the floor, so I have a footrest that helps out for maximum comfort.

The whole thing sounds ridiculous, but I love my setup and being able to roll it around the house, the back porch, the pool deck, etc.

This is such an important point. Having your feet flat on the floor and your thighs parallel to the ground are the first step in evaluating economics. If you can't do that without your forearms touching the desk, it isn't right.

I believe the word you are looking for is ergonomics.

We had purchased this in the past for sons bedroom. Do not recommend.

First off, the table top has two narrow boards butted together, so you will have a seam down the middle horizontally.

Second, the unit started to malfunction after a few days, where the left side would not rise at the same pace as the right side. There was a way to "reset" it so it would be correct, but after a day it started to do it again. Many reviews do say the mechanism does not last long.

Fortunately, we were able to send this back for a full refund. It was not worth the hassle.

I noticed that most of the standing desks in this price range from multiple brands have the same leg system, so we decided to get a regular desk and get one with a full one piece top.
