I'd really love to try the Oled monitors but, one of the review says that the Oled care feature kicks in and stops you from doing anything for 5 minutes or so. That could be a big issue if you can't control that. Maybe I'd be better off with one of the Mini Led monitors.... Any suggestions please?

I have this monitor. Yes, in the beginning it was an issue. An annoying issue but if you set your monitor to standby when inactive you will be fine. It automatically runs 5 minutes into standby mode. You should not turn your monitor off manually. I have yet to see that pop-up unless I'm doing a prolong gaming or use session. The only time I see it now is if I do it manually.
Acer has a mini led 27 inch display for $250 right now, I had bought the Samsung g50sf oled which from my understanding is the same 200 screen nit panel as this, the Samsung was terribly dim, the acer mini led is literally leagues better, so I agree with you a mini led is def better. Also the Acer is a metal base and stand, the Samsung was all cheap plastic (not height adjustable)
