This or the QX Revo Ultra 2 at Costco that drops to $780 when on sale?
Get the Costco. It has the same Mop detach as the Saros which is the main benefit of of the Saros 10 series Roborock generation.
this 10R doesn't have the LDS (laser detection) that pops-up and down. Not to be confused with the 10 (without the R) which HAS the LDS like the costco one.
The Ultra 2 is comparable to the Roborock Edge 2. It has a mix of Saros 10 + higher suction, but the Saros has better AI object recognition, and I believe higher lifting to cross higher thresholds. My Ultra sometimes gets stuck on my U shaped chair leg.
I have the Ultra from costco, and just ordered the Ultra 2 and returning the Ultra which doesn't have the auto mop detach. Had it for 5 months, purchased at same price on a sale. I had no issues with it, it was great, but having the ability to detach the mop will be better.
Also, costco one comes with extra mops, vaccum bag, etc which would usually cost $100

Thanks. I already got the Ultra 2 from Costco on a recent sale and haven't opened it yet.
Any thoughts on the auto detergent dispenser from your personal experience? One review mentioned that the 10R has it but the Ultra 2 doesn't. If that's true, I'm not sure if that's just nice to have or if not having it is going to become a big pain point.
if you have pets the detergent might help to clean some more dirt. That's what I read. If no pets just water is good enough, i haven't had any issues as I have no pets and decently dirt free so I only mop once a week. Being Korean i don't wear shoes inside the home
Returned the Saros 10R I got during the Prime Day deal about a month ago. Had suction issues and just didn't clean like my old S7 MaxV Ultra (which eventually fried electrically after 4 years). Roborock support wanted videos and a bunch of troubleshooting steps. After trying a few and seeing the same complaints on Reddit, it started looking like a design issue. Didn't feel like dealing with return windows and the usual runaround, so I'm just going to wait for Costco. There's a reason for this deal......
