Do people dip it into a bucket of No. 9? Because... my friend still has a whole bottle from years ago.

Accidentally spilled some in my old pickup when I moved in my early 20's and now the smell of it gives me nostalgia.

Consider buying the quart bottle. You'll save a quarter compared to the price of two pint bottles.

I wonder if any of these gun cleaners and lubes expire. I have quite a few from like 10 years back.

They may lose some of their effectiveness, but in the end there is no real downside to using it. I still use some of my grandpa's stuff which is at least 50 years old. Could be closer to 70. LOL

Does crude oil expire? How about whisky?
Basically any oil or spirits become less effective over time 10-25 years, but they still work for 50+ years

Mostly depends on how they were stored. Open and in hot and humid? You'll have just some nasty goo left nice all the volatiles evaporate.
