I don't trust woot with electronics anymore. They treat things terribly (shipping) and their grading system sucks.

That's not how it works. Nintendo made it so that the console has a copy of Mario Kart World bound to its serial number. Once you connect it to the internet, the console alerts you of the free game.

It's not a code that you redeem. That's why you see returned Switch 2 consoles in pristine condition. People buy it, open it up, and see that there's no code inside, so they return it.

Was the Switch 2 a noticeable upgrade from version 1? I've been eying the latest PGA golf game and it's not available on V1. I have a feeling this trend will keep happening for me, haha.

So much imo. Being able to play a game like re9 on a switch is amazing. I take it to work and play with a pro controller so often. Currently playing ff7 rebirth

That's why MK World doesn't show up in your virtual game cards when you sign into your Nintendo account on another device... You don't actually own it.
I don't believe that is correct. I bought two during launch and both came with a code to deemed mk. The game didn't download or show up in my account until I redeemed it.
