Not sure if it's worth it, but refurbished sells for $169.99 on Epson and Walmart

Good deal on new non refurbished. Normal non-sale price was around $250-270 if memory serves me right

I have had this printer for years. Other than the occaisional scan feed issue, it works well.

do these tank units hold up better as far as clogging the head? can this go months between print jobs without issues? any ideas?

I'm heard they will dry out. I had another one that was idle for 6 months with no problems. I've also had no issues with third party ink.

I just bought one came in yesterday, it's going back lol. Tell me why mine was used pre filled, bottles empty, one manual on top and other on the bottom stuck to the tape. Not new at all and I had to double check if it was a refurbished but it wasn't listed as refurbished . Thanks Amazon, sending it back tomorrow and going to reorder From Best Buy same price now I just seen it.

I have had my Epson ET-2800 for many years now. You have to remember to print something to it often, like a full page color printout of anything, at least once every 3 or 4 weeks or else the nozzles get crusty, then you have to do cleaning pages until the nozzles get clear again. The Epson eco-tank, absolutely nukes any HP cartridge based system out of water. The scanner bed it pretty fast too, thats pretty cool.

I had a problem with one for the longest time (more than a year); color wasn't printing, so I lived with just black. Finally decided to do a deep clean, and it fixed the problem, and it prints perfectly. They certainly don't recommend going years without printing.

I don't have a model with an ADF. I'm sure it's in the device specs if you check on Amazon.

2026 and people are still buying inkjet technology. Too funny.
