official merchandise means from FIFA, official licensed means wallgreens made them but licensed the logo, etc...

Out of 6 locations I had stopped by in Boston area only one had a decent selection of magnets and pins. A couple had some, and the rest had t-shits, hats and paper products only. I am guessing if I travel further out of the city into suburbs there might be more selection.

Unlikely, they probably went from huge profit margins to high profit margins. I got a lot of pins for $2, down from $10. Probably costs less than 50c to make, so even with overhead they're making money.
