Walmart reviews... One of the one-stars is because there's no remote. Are they spectacular fans? Probably not. For $13.99 and Walmart returns, I'll gamble.

Search "Mainstays Hugger Fan" on Walmart and look for the $39.97 priced fans. They get 4.5 out of 5 in the reviews. I'm not sure why Walmart created a separate new clearance listing for the oil rubbed bronze version bit apparently they get good reviews.

Other colors of the same fan have great reviews (200+). This one only has 3 reviews, so WM probably put these on clearance since nobody is buying this color. $14 is almost as good as WM employee "discount".

Hopefully you have a good experience but I bought 2, one after returning the first and both had motors that were making a lot of noise. First I thought I installed them wrong and got a contractor friend to do it. The noise persisted, returned it and got another one but that also has the same noise. I suspect a bad batch in manufacturing.
