Unless you have a small lawn, I'd highly recommend at minimum a 7.5ah battery. Anything less will not last long and get hot fast.

I would trade those two 4ah for a 7.5.

For a big lawn, two batteries is better than one because you can charge one while using the other one. Not mention the kit with 7.5 ah battery is $150 more.

Two large batteries would be better than one. 4ah batteries are not appropriate for this mower.

Yup. 4ah will overheat faster too. You'll be waiting for it to cool down to be able to charge. Would be a pain in the butt to use on a large lawn.
