This seems to be about half the price of quickjacks..

But, obvious, I'd be working underneath the car with these...

Are they actually sturdy and reliable?

I just ordered it. I have the same concern. But I couldn't find any fatal accident related to this lift on Google and there are many people on YouTube who actually uses it. So I guess it should be fine for me since my car is well under its rated loading capacity.

I plan to put my extra wheels with winter tires under the car anyway just to get an extra layer of safety when using it.

Vevor sells a bunch of generic stuff they don't make anything themselves. It would be better to know the actual OEM.

In any case, when it comes safety stuff don't skimp. I would gladly pay 2x more for something more reputable.

I have the quickjacks and my heres my take looking at these. They do appear to be sturdy from the picture. They appear to have more metal than the quickjacks, no idea on thickness though. My main complaint with the quickjacks are that they are a pain to move and set up so if these are heavier then they are going to suck to use.

Definitely a good idea to always stuff a tire under the car for extra piece of mind. whenever I'm working under the car I always have 2 jack stands plus the floor jack lightly pressed up against a mounting point. Also after you put your car on any stand give it a good shove or two in different directions. If it's gonna fall then it's better for it to fall while you're not under it.
