Why are there so many refurbished River 3 Plus's? Can you trust that the cells haven't been run to 0, shortening their life?

I suspect a lot of these were returned because people bought them to use as a UPS, which it was heavily marketed for, but they fall short in a few ways that some find unacceptable. You can never guarantee that a refurb wasn't abused but I have ordered a few ecoflow refurbs including a river 3. They have all looked brand new and none have failed on me so far.

I just got one to use as a ups with some solar energy offset. Why does it make a bad ups?

It randomly shuts off the ac ports which makes it useless as a ups. People have tried setting changes, charging speed changes, etc to no avail. It appears ecoflow support starts ghosting people as they try to get help. Also pushing them out past the easy return date.
