So I own this model, and I don't know if I like it. It is incredibly powerful, more than some of the original Dyson floor vacuums you plug into the wall. What I don't like is it detects when it feels there needs to be more suction because of a dirty spot and spins up the motor to the point where it literally becomes hard to move on the carpet. Now there isn't a dirty spot it detected and seems to randomly go into super suction mode. On hard surfaces it is fabulous, thick carpet, not so much.
