I bought the same brand about a year ago. Fans were great and good quality, installation was easy but somehow after a year, almost all fans developed "Clickly" noise/sound. Some fans have it low speed, whereas the other mostly have it at high speed. Also, these can't be split on two different buttons for a separate light and fan switch.

You have a kitchen that can support a 5' fan?? How tall are your kitchen ceilings?! Smilie
It's a vaulted ceiling.

Steer clear of this brand, I bought it last year and it only worked for 6 months. I've sent so many emails to their support team since it's under a 1-year warranty, but no one's replied

A clickety-clack sound from your ceiling fan is usually caused by loose hardware, unbalanced blades, or a physical obstruction tapping against the spinning parts. It often indicates that screws have vibrated loose, a pull chain is hitting the housing, or dust buildup has warped the blades.

Just an FYI, I bought another fan by this brand and both the fan and light turn on using a wall switch, so I disconnected the light. Can someone chime in if this exhibits the same issue?

These dimmable multi speed fans are not meant to use a wall switch. You control it with the remote only.

I've got 5 other DC fans in the house and they work fine on a wall switch and remember their settings when the switch is turned off. Since most fans sold are rebadged by companies, "these" fans don't all behave alike which is why I asked for first hand experiences.

I got these a few weeks ago, they work great but don't seem to remember their last fan speed setting when you power them off and back on

How are you individually controlling both the lights and fans on a remote controlled fan/light unit with a single wall switch? It's impossible.

I'm not. I want to control just the fan with the wall switch, not both the fan and light. My other fans remember their previous settings when the switch turns off. Ohniyou turns the light and fan on regardless if the light was off before turning the fan off at the switch.
