I bought the same brand about a year ago. Fans were great and good quality, installation was easy but somehow after a year, almost all fans developed "Clickly" noise/sound. Some fans have it low speed, whereas the other mostly have it at high speed. Also, these can't be split on two different buttons for a separate light and fan switch.

Just FYI, According to the specs. The speed of the fan can only be controlled by the remote. Not a problem for some but if you're replacing a fan that has speed controller. You will need to replace it with a standard on-off switch.

I don't have this specific model or brand, but these gigantic DC motor fans are a game changer. SO quiet and move SO MUCH air. They seem obnoxiously large at first, but once you get used to it they really just blend in. I wouldn't put one in a room with a standard height ceiling or anything myself, but in a room with high ceilings it fits in great. We have one in our living room and if you run it on high you'll blow any loose paper in the surrounding 600 sqft the breeze will find it. The thing I love about these huge fans is running it on low still moves a great amount of air and doesn't make a sound.

I bought five of these for my house, looks like this is a newer model. You will need to keep the switch on at all times and only use the remote, no ability to do dual switches like a normal fan. That said they're all working great so far no issues. I do really like being able to control all my fans and lights in my house from the app. The lights aren't that bright, if you need super bright light in a room these probably won't be enough for you. The install was weird because the internal controller is huge, you have to kind of slide it in between the mounting bracket and the ceiling since there's no way it will fit inside a normal electrical box. They're goofy and frustrating to install but once you're do one you will have a template for the rest. I recommend putting the fan blades on after you mount the motor, trying to hold up the entire fan while you assemble it is a nightmare. Hopefully they have fixed some of these installation issues with the new model.

Downrods are superior, flush mount fans will vibrate and want to tear themselves apart if not perfectly balanced which is almost impossible to achieve. The downrod sits on a bearing that allows the fan to move slightly, basically eliminating the need to balance the fan. I installed five of these in place of old flush mount fans with the short down rod, they're actually sleeker and take up less room than the bulky old ones with light bulbs hanging down.

Received and installed mine today. I can confirm that if you connect to a wall switch, the light will come on every time you turn off and turn on the fan. Other than that the install went smoothly.

I'd file credit card chargeback or check if your credit card company can cover this since most offer warranty protection and or contact the seller on your behalf. Warranty 1 year is warranty 1 year.
