Just bought on Wayfair for open box for $76. They only had one left but maybe something to keep an eye out for. Hopefully it comes in good condition.

Not at this price, $139 is wild. I paid $100 for a knock off Chinese one 3 years ago. Best investment ever I have cooked hundreds of breakfast on it and stir fry it's one of the best buys you can get for the Weber. And easy to swap back to a normal grill
It's a hunk of seasoned steel. You said it yourself, a knockoff Chinese one does just fine and your deal was 30% cheaper than this one that's already like 40% off.

If I have a Weber Genesis E-315, it's better to get the larger one here for $162, right?

Unfortunately, this Weber topper doesn't fit a 2011 S-330 (Series 1), only 2016 forward. Someone does make a similar designed griddle that fits the older Weber 3 series but I can't speak to the quality https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CG8CN196 It's a lot cheaper though and they make several sizes for whatever Weber you might have.

I tried a topper, but it just felt too cramped so I ended up buying a full size 4 burner griddle that sits next to my S-330. I also didn't like having to clean the grease channel of the topper (kind of a hassle compared to a grease port and container of my dedicated griddle. Nice concept though if you don't want to bother with two units or don't have the room.

I usually just take one of those Lodge reversible griddle pans and put that onto the grill, they're like $35 each, cheaper on sale. Sometimes just one, if I want to do grilling and griddling, sometimes 2 as needed, but the lid won't close all the way on my Genesis 315 with 2 griddle pans on it...still gets plenty hot to do the job.

I'm still confused here. Does one of these fit the Genesis E-315 from the other deal perfectly?

I just use a couple cheap pans with raised edges (basically cookie sheets) when I want to cook something like bacon on my Weber Genesis. What a ripoff these are.

Sure. I have a Genesis. The drain is in the back right corner so grease tends to drain from there straight into the bottom tray and the opening to the drip pan is right there. I haven't had any issues with flare-ups. I do turn off at least the right burner before I push a lot of grease down. Most foods don't generate a ton of grease, bacon is the worst.
Appreciate the insights and the tip on the right burner!

I got the lodge griddle at Costco for $25. Half the grill is covered by it. I start my burgers on it and flip them over onto the grill to finish.

Purchased this on sale previously with the idea I would be using it for smashburgers and vegetables. I regret the purchase given that storing it is a huge PITA. Once you use it, you have to wait for it to cool, clean it, season it, and lug it back into the house where, hopefully, you have a place to put a huge piece of oily metal that will stain anything that touches it.

Interesting point. What about storing it in the cabinet of my Genesis E-315 that's on the way? It would be in the cabinet and covered, but I'm not sure if that keeps it away from the elements enough not to ruin it?

On my Genesis there are hooks on the right side to hang a grate. I hang the larger grate there and put the smaller grate in the cabinet when using the griddle. Then I either store it with the griddle installed, or just set the griddle directly on the cast grates and store it that way. No issues with rust or seasoning left outside year round but I do keep the grill covered.

Got one for mine. I use it more than the grill grates.

I got a cheap knock off once and it started to peel after a few months. I ended up getting a Weber brand and I've had no issues, and I use it a few times a week.

Get a Lodge griddle from Costco. They were recently on sale. Will last multiple generations.
