Mint's bundle pairs a year of 5G home internet with an unlimited phone plan, and the strongest appeal is the low effective monthly cost for both services. The home internet side includes a free 5G gateway, and the gateway can be taken on road trips. There is a 14 day money back guarantee with no restocking fee, 45 days to activate home internet, and no five year lock in after the first year. The main caveats are address eligibility, since some locations are not covered, and service quality can trail fiber in latency and stability.
Common Questions (6)
It can be stable and snappy for some homes, but it is also described as less stable and higher-latency than Verizon Fios or Xfinity. It is most compelling where fiber or other wired service is unavailable, rather than as a direct fiber replacement.
Availability is address-based and some locations are not eligible, including Houston, Texas. A home internet check can fail even when Mint Mobile phone coverage at the same address is strong.
The home internet plan includes a free 5G gateway device. It can also be brought along on road trips, with no restriction mentioned in the comments.
No separate hotspot gadget is supplied. Hotspot use comes from the cellular side by connecting your phone's built-in hotspot.
Current Mint subscribers asked about getting the $540 bundle and the $10 monthly MINTernet discount, but no confirmed method for the full new-customer bundle appears in the comments. One practical path mentioned is calling the listed number to ask about the home-internet discount.
The advertised $540 bundle can land closer to about $600 once taxes and fees are added, with one estimate putting phone taxes around $35 and internet taxes around $25. Even so, the combined cost can still work out to under $48 per month before comparing it to alternatives.

no, s/b on the phone service only which is about $30 for most. still $570 for a year of WIFI AND UNLIMITED PHONE?? less than $48 a month. Don't get hung up on the taxes if it's still far cheaper than anything else out there.

it is still cheaper, it is, even though you say it is not. But for that kind of difference in price, it's minimal savings so likely not worth the hassle of changing.
Also I get about 450 MBpersecond with my Mint Mobile phone data. But I am not eligible for Minternet due to where I live... but even if I was, I don't think it makes sense.
That's your opinion of course, I've been on MINTERNET since last November and been happy with it. To each their own.
So I am the type of guy who would switch to save $3.00 BUT only if my service remained the same or got better... I would never ever try to save $3 if my internet service would suffer.
