no, s/b on the phone service only which is about $30 for most. still $570 for a year of WIFI AND UNLIMITED PHONE?? less than $48 a month. Don't get hung up on the taxes if it's still far cheaper than anything else out there.

Mint's bundle pairs a year of 5G home internet with an unlimited phone plan, and the strongest appeal is the low effective monthly cost for both services. The home internet side includes a free 5G gateway, and the gateway can be taken on road trips. There is a 14 day money back guarantee with no restocking fee, 45 days to activate home internet, and no five year lock in after the first year. The main caveats are address eligibility, since some locations are not covered, and service quality can trail fiber in latency and stability.

  • Mint 5G Home MINTernet includes a free 5G gateway device for the home connection setup.

  • The deal can include a 14-day money-back guarantee with no restocking fee after activation.

    ziegfeld

  • Mint home internet activation allows a 45-day window to get the service running.

    ziegfeld

  • The home internet gateway can be taken along for road trips without a stated restriction.

  • Mint 5G Home MINTernet can be less stable with more lag than Verizon Fios fiber for some households.

    SensibleBird3184SensibleBird3184

  • Mint 5G Home MINTernet may be unavailable at a specific address even when Mint wireless phone coverage is strong.

    qwe1234FabulousStranger526

  • Mint 5G Home MINTernet is unavailable in Houston, Texas due to location eligibility limits.

    visaman777

  • Refunds can be denied when the 7-day return window has passed, leaving service for the full 12 months.

You can believe what you want... My opinion is based on scientific facts that were not done by me... I know YOUR MINTERNET is AMAZING but Fiber optics transmit data at the speed of light through dedicated physical lines, keeping lag ultra-low. Telling me that it is just my opinion that there is more lag with Minternet is NOT AN OPINION, this is facts that you can not dispute and be correct. Wired connections are immune to cell tower congestion, weather interference, and signal drops... because of this FIOS is much better. Even if your cellphone data shows higher peak speeds, Verizon Fios 300/300 is still the vastly superior choice for your home network.

So I am the type of guy who would switch to save $3.00 BUT only if my service remained the same or got better... I would never ever try to save $3 if my internet service would suffer.
I was about to point out that not everybody has FTTH so solutions like this are a godsend for those of us unlucky to be stuck on DSL (or worse). Then I remembered, that, for some reason, my addresses NEVER qualify for 5G home gateways, this offer included. So the (lack of) infrastructure argument applies either way...

If only I was as fortunate as you, as a fellow GA resident, to have an address that qualifies for 5G home internet...

Home MINternet is currently unavailable at that address. You may still have excellent Mint Mobile wireless coverage. Check out our phone plans.

Most people who aren't gamers have no reason to care about this level of scrutiny over internet service. That said, they have free trials.
You are wrong... 100% wrong. I pay for 300/300 if I was a true gamer I would be paying for at least 1000/1000. If you think only gamer's want STABLE AND SNAPPY internet then you are mistaken... EVERYONE wants stable and snappy internet.

Mine is stable and snappy with Minternet. I have no idea what speed it is, lag specs, etc.

100% AGREE with you. But the person was like.. .HEY, you can save $2-$3 a month and I just pointed out that the extra cost of $2 or $3 per month is well worth the advantage of having fiber optics. My address also does not qualify.. even though I get 450mb/s on my phone where I live. I would think this would be great for anyone that has a house where there is no available service. My brother-in-law pays for this as a SECOND internet connection since he sometimes uses all the badwith for his work and he likes it but he tells me it does not compare with xfinity if you have a choice.

Has anyone that already has a Mint line been able to get this bundle deal with the 12-months unlimited data phone line included?

I currently have Mint and it will expire in 5 days. Seems like current Mint subscribers can get the $10 monthly discount for MINTernet by calling the number listed, but I don't know if there's a way to get the 12 months unlimited data bundle for a total of $540.

Anyone know of any way to get a discount on your renewal of a Mint phone plan after you've already been given discounts in the past? Customer retention would not give me ANY discount again, even though they are offering new customers $15/month. I don't want to go through the hassle of switching.

STAY AWAY ....MINT is worse. Their network in dallas area keeps dropping. But TMobile works fine. And when you ask for a refund they say 7 day return window is over and you are stuck with a useless service for 12 months.

Port your number to Google voice which is where it should have been to begin with. Sign up for a new plan from mint and forward your Google voice calls to the new number from mint.
