I've bought a cheap 55" 4K Hisense I got for the 2018 World Cup... And have been using it as my daily since. Only issue is it can get a little slow with the tons of apps I've installed, but other than that no issues whatsoever

Hisense is just as good or better than some big name brands. They also white label for some of them. Best bang for your buck

I've had to do the main board swap as well (after a recurring boot loop problem) for a very premium set after 2 years.

Still, for $200 and rokuOS (easiest interface for novice users), this seems like an easy decision if you don't have the budget for a better set.

I do agree. This is better than nothing but I have a Sony A80K and I love it so much so the headache is gone. I find it funny that people can downvote my bad experience with Hisense so much x)

I've had a Hisense U8 and it worked great. I don't know why people are downvoting, that's a valid comment and good advice for someone to get the warranty. Best Buy warranty is amazing and you can even get a prorated refund on the warranty if you want to sell or upgrade your tv early
